Have been having a problem of late when i go to switch my headlights on ( side lights fine ) only one side comes on and i usually have to turn the switch a few times back off and back on again and eventually the other side comes into life, the thing that worries me more though is only last night...

I backtracked the route i took as soon as i realised i had lost it but never found it so buying another one would be the way to go now Thanks

I rang them before and they have no record on the system. I still have the receipt for them but it was over 2 years ago so they want me to e-mail them a picture

My car seems to have started playing up on me just recently and its when i turn the key in the ignition and i get no lights on the dash. Most of the time, if not always it starts first time with the lights but sometimes now i go to start it and i get no lights on the dash and it turns over...

I done a search and found that this seems a common problem...will keep a check on it now as it does seem to happen on first start up. Dont think i will be changing it myself just yet but i will speak to Simon at central vw audi in ellesmere port who does all the work on my s3 for me and may be...

Just noticed recently that each time i start the car (1999 S3),i can hear 4 beeps which seem to be coming from the boot area.I have never heard these beeps before in the 4 years i have owned the car...just wondering if anyone knew what they meant?? Cheers Steve
