    Heated front washer jet isssue

I had the exact problem yesterday morning. Was coming out the front headlight ducts just fine, but nothing came out the front wiper ducts the whole 45 minute journey. I had to pull over twice to use the foam part of the scraper to clear the screen, although it was still like looking through...

BH's Mystery Blue Mk3 SEAT Leon Cupra 300 5 Door

Just in case you didn't know but I rang Seat head office to find out about the virtual cockpit, as Warrington didn't know anything about it when I contacted them. They said it will be included on all Cupras after build week 45 - does this mean you'll get it? I think I'm about to put an order...

BH's Mystery Blue Mk3 SEAT Leon Cupra 300 5 Door

Oh I thought the mystery blue was standard on the cupra! That's alright then, thanks, light ring them Tomorrow! Like you said would be good if the new cockpit arrives in time!

BH's Mystery Blue Mk3 SEAT Leon Cupra 300 5 Door

Brilliant offer that! After re-thinking a second PCP due to overall costs over 4 years this is really tempting! It seems to have gone up to £259 now on a 1+23 but it's still not bad. Might be haggle room I don't know! Out of interest was choosing a different colour paint included or was it...

    Impatience

Tell me about it! Before this thread I was saying how I love the certainty of monthly payments, warranty in place, new car etc and actively raved about it. Now I wish I'd been less naive and been more informed from the start to play a longer game. Even playing a longer game doesn't mean we...

    Impatience

That's true, but I don't think I'd be able to afford a used Audi at this stage, not at an age I'd want anyway. I would consider an older performance car, just an older BMW or Audi for example worries me due to increased repair costs! I just wanted my A3 because I love the brand - it's classy...

    Impatience

I've been following this thread with great interest. I can see the sides of both arguments. I bought my very first brand new car in 2014, a 3dr A3 S-Line hatchback with comfort pack only, eagerly as soon as I finished uni. I knew nothing of carwow and the likes and have been paying £310 a month...

    Spotters Thread For 8V Chassis

Saw two RS3s within ten minutes of each other this morning. A nardo grey 15 plate RS3 at the eye roundabout in Peterborough, and then a private plate Daytona RS3 joining the Peterborough parkway at Hampton.

What have you done to your 8V today?

What I did to my A3 today was turn back and admire it, and considered myself dam lucky to own what I think is a spectacular car! Will have had it 2 years tomorrow and have loved every minute of owning it. Great external looks, classy interior and a brilliant 1.4 cod engine which no only still...

What have you done to your 8V today?

I took them off mate! Did attempt to do one on the car, and although it made things easier with not having to hold it, it failed miserably when it came to cutting the excess around the edge. much easier off to get it right round the edges. Cheers for the comments guys!

What have you done to your 8V today?

Thanks pburv :grinning: Had some carbon fibre vinyl left.. so thought have a go at the spoiler.. Not sure what I think yet! I think I like it.. don't want it looking 'chavvy', but I think it just compliments the mirrors nicely and helps differentiate it slightly from the crowd of standard a3s...

What have you done to your 8V today?

Plastidip! Brilliant stuff, about £10 per can on Amazon. There's loads of videos on YouTube which help with the method. I masked it all off completely and left it on, then the overstay just peels off nice and simply!

    Chrome silver door trim change?

Thanks! And I think it would be pretty easy to peel it off the whole grille tbh. I mean, I did a bit of overspray onto the gloss black areas of the grille where I didn't mask it thoroughly enough. Providing the coat is think enough and intentional it'll just peel off nice and easy!

What have you done to your 8V today?

Plastidipped the front chrome surround to go with the newly carbon fibre wrapped mirrors.

    Chrome silver door trim change?

Thanks for that. I've just had a go at it, actually not too hard to do! I did try spraying a section of the bottom splitter, masked each side with tape, but when I peeled the tape, even though the plastidip was still wet, it peeled.. so it was promptly all removed!

    Chrome silver door trim change?

Did you bother to mask off any areas surrounding the grille? I can imagine the outer edge is fairly ok because of the natural break between the surround and the bodywork, but did you have to mask to the inside edge? Or did it just peel off nice and easily?

    Chrome silver door trim change?

Looks much nicer in black. I've literally just received my black and glossifier plastidip in the post today, and am going to try spraying the chrome grille this evening!
