The standard intercooler is positioned behind nearside front fog light grill, which is closed off. Shouldn't this be opened up....? Similar to mk1 S3 fog light grills with twin intercoolers although they have wheel arch vents to increase air flow....

I've had my s3 for 6 years, so I'm familiar with most of the little problems. The engine generally runs ok, although there is a fueling problem. My mechanic has run a couple diags', which shows nothing. However, it's just failed the mot with a high co2 level at fast idle.

I've since done a few hundred miles on both twisty and straight lanes and can see an improvement in both ride and handling characteristics (i.e. feedback and roll)...
