Hi All,
I'm looking for a swap on my S3 for another Honda. Don't really want to sell as i'm a travelling salesman and need a car for work so i'd prefer a p/x or swap.
I'm going to be getting myself an Evo towards the end of the year so i fancy chopping the S3 in for either an Ep3, Dc5 or...
Boosting issues are a whole world of pain, i've had mine for a year and never found the fault, i;ve changed pretty much everything from MAF's, to MAP's, FPR, actuator, hoses etc etc etc
Good luck is all i can say to you and your bank card mate :(
Haha yeah to be honest, if i had my own place i'd have an Audi for a dailey work car and have another stripped out lairy Civic sat on the drive to abuse on the weekends, thing is for me at the moment i don't have the room for 2 cars so i kinda have to kill two birds with one stone by getting a...
I needed a new tax disc holder for the motor and whilst browsing for something suitable on ebay i stumbled accross an 'S3' engraved Richbrook twist-back item which looked tasty at a very good price.
I emailed the company to see if they did one with the 'quattro' emblem on as well...
They...
Yeah still whining haha!
I just haven't ever felt 100% happy with it..
It's the 'rawness' that i miss. My Civic was a loud, bumpy poorly built Jap motor and you're right, the second you stick your foot down your just grinning ear to ear. The S3's performance has never manged to even crack a...
I've owned my S3 for a year now and having not really spent much money modding it i'm now very bored of it. Stage 1 map and yeah it's fairly nippy but i'm bored of driving a fast German armchair now.
I had a stripped out raw loud beast of a Civic before and the cars are worlds apart.
I miss...
My DIS says 23.5MPG average.
I fill up and brim it when i have about 30miles of fuel left and it cost's about £80.00 in VPower.
I get anything from 250miles (very spirited stop/start driving)
to 400miles (very sensible stop/start driving)
My work place is only 4miles from home and i...
I got a price from the stealers and they want £1,500 for a clutch fitted!
They tell me it's an engine/transfer box out job..
I find this hard to believe but thought i'd get opinions.
Anyone had thiers done and can give me some home truths LOL.
Thanks.
Thanks, i'll give that a try then mate. So i guess if it feel's no different, it would sort of suggest the turbo is on it's way out, if not and it feels a lot stronger and progressive on boost it therefor means the turbos doing it's job...
How about if ther turbo's fine but the actuator is...
