Hi guys, i have searched all over google for info but with no luck, so i am asking for some advice.
I have retrofitted the DRL xenon headlights from a 2010 a3 to my 2006 a3 (i have done a full facelift conversion)
I purchased the kufatec loom, pluged them in. The xenon dipped beam and...
The lights are fitted to the car pal all i want to know is where the extra wires fit on the module. I would appreciate if someone can help out :tongueout:
Hi people, i have got the kufatec Xenon drl kit for a facelift on a 2006 a3. It has a seperate yellow wire coming from each adaptor which is supposed to fit into the headlight module under the steering wheel.
Does anyone know which pin it is and will it coding?
Thanks in advance.:blow:
How much are we talking for coding as i have the lights and can fit them. Just want to know what else is required i.e adaptors, been told i might need a control box and maybe a DRL switch
Yes the car is facelifted and is not xenon fitted from factory, currently has halogens but want to upgrade to xenons.
So if someone could kindly give me a list of parts required so i can get the ball rolling
The code on mine reads
8p0 941 029 BF
Also what adaptor is required, (my car is not fitted with xenons as standard)
Can i buy any bi xenon light (non adaptive) and have it fitted or do i need to match the code?
Quick update fellas, the wobble was cured. I will be looking into the bolts. Im pretty sure i have some for a 56 plate astra which i put aftermarket alloys on and had to buy "special bolts" from the shop. Can someone tell me if they would fit the audi? Thanks again for your input people ;)
