Its not possible to disable audiopilot using VCDS
I disabled it last week on my car by removing the mic in the overhead console, but I do get the 3 beeps, which despite being annoying isn't as annoying as audiopilot messing around with the volume unnecessarily, so I can live with the beeps
I tried to remove it today and ended up removing the bluetooth mic (one with the green wire) lol smh, need to reattach it
Can someone tell me where it should be because I cant find it
I thought removing the mic would stop audiopilot from working? how else would it determine if theres any ambient sound
I don't want to play around with the amplifier tbh
I want to remove the Bose audiopilot mic but i'm not sure exactly where it is and how to get to it, I dont want to end up removing the hands free mic by accident. I know this has been discussed before but all the photos in those threads are down. Would appreciate it if someone could help me out...
I've got the tune2air wma3000a and it works fine with my android phone
u can change tracks on the steering wheel using it
Only issue is that the radio won't display track names
according to audi the ones built after mid 2011 are fine but i've seen a few ppl with cars built after still complaining about excessive consumption
i've got a 61 plate 1.8 tfsi BE and I haven't had any excessive oil consumption issues though
Looks gd, u should ask the dealer if the piston rings were changed and if theres any paperwork to prove it, because a defect on the piston rings in engines built before mid 2011 causes excessive oil consumption
no, i've got the dry clutch gearbox which is sealed for life and doesn't require an oil change according to audi
the car has done 38400 miles anyway btw
I've found a video where somebody managed to film the same issue i'm having, but theres seems to more erratic and worse than mine currently
any of you guys know what it could be, since theres no fault code I dont see the point in taking it to Audi just yet
This problem started 2 days ago where I randomly experienced power loss whilst accelerating. When going from 1st to 2nd gear, there was a loud thud that you could feel in the car and the car wouldn't accelerate for a few seconds and was slowing down, the revs didn't go up either so the car...
Not sure about the car pulling but with the slow acceleration judder, its most likely your clutch pack that needs replacing, does it happen in 2nd gear?
If its not possible for the owner to request a 98 map then i'll probably just stick with 95. I tried V Power and didn't notice any difference, but this was only half a tank. Guess I'd have to give it a few full tanks for there to be any difference.
