Brake pads

Hi all,
Second service was due and I need to change my front brake pads after 30K k”m, wanted endless pads but waiting time + price is too high (because of low stock + high demand locally) so off the table, ds2500 were out of stock so ended up looking at Brembo xtra but I barely heard or was able to read much on them, I’m mainly looking at OEM+ in terms of performance, what are your thoughts on them ?

Ive just fitted brembo xtra pads on my 8y rs3 2 days ago. Lets see how they hold up.
Ps our front pads are same as b9 s4

When enquiring about a set of Hawk pads for mine I was told the RS4/5 calipers are the same as the 8Y as well.

Same 6 piston caliper yes. Widens up the choice a little.

Done about 10k miles on Brembo Xtra holding up well at the moment, now at 40k miles

Not juat widens choice, but takes away that rs premium lrice tag when looking at b9 s4 pads

Never found aftermarket pads expensive anyway and I’ve tried and tested loads over the last 11 years of RS ownership.

Thanks for the feedback just bought a set, glad to hear other owners use them without any complaints (what made me buy them)
