Sell it to yer self anyway you want to mate lol
Carbon Side sills *** you'll notice these unless you go looking for them ...same as the sills on my TTS "high gloss black " only time l noticed these was when l was machine polishing them carbon mirrors/wing nice ...me and you Chalk n Cheese remember lol

I really do like the Matt black wheels but likely not the Vorsprung ones so much. I might get them refinished but really don’t know what I’d go for…

I’d want something that Matt black to stand out a bit if I’m going through the process of getting them done. Maybe a dark matt bronze? I really don’t know what I’d do that would keep it from looking cheap against the grey paint.

i definitely think the carbon will blend with the daytona really well and yes they may be quite subtle, but a nice addition to the car all the same.
Its all imagination atm though as none of us have seen a carbon car.
Maybe with them taking off 360 cams and heads up displays on the vorsprung they might take off carbon on the carbon cars yet :tearsofjoy:

Has anyone got or uploaded pictures of a kemora grey saloon yet? Can’t remember if there has been and don’t fancy clicking through 68 pages haha

Well they should have had the foresight/planning to recogise the shortcomings the chip shortages would have after all chip shortages for all consumer product has been going on for over a year the RS3 was only launched in August but if they had given us in the UK the same individual options choices like they have in the EU then these deletions of gizmos would not have been as much of a issue Audi themselves predict the majority of Sales of the RS3 will be the Vorsprung models so far more customers will be affected just because of the simplified **** model line up

Its being rumoured it could be sacrificed along with 360 cam yes. It’s not something I would be fussed in losing though - pan roof as you say is main draw of the vorsprung ... imagine if they drop that :blink:

I’m not sure I’d even want it as I feel I may find it a distraction. If I get bugs on the screen I have to get those off the same day. Don’t like anything obscuring my field of vision.

There's only ONE thing they should drop from the vorsprung and I probably don't even have to say it :tearsofjoy:

If they keep taking stuff off the cars they will probably lose customers, If the ACC or the adaptive suspension goes off the Vorsprung i'm off as well, the rest I can take or leave tbh :(

Adding ACC/Adaptive dampers and sounds to a carbon ends up £59,660.00 against £58,725.00 for the vorsprung with extra elec memory seats/Pan Roof and elec Tailgate, makes the carbon seem expensive? unless you like Carbon 'theif' attracting mirrors

HUD is the only thing still keeping me on Vorsprung. I don’t want the pano roof, rather have the black roof. If they remove HUD I’ll be switching my order to carbon black

agreed ... vorsprung is definitely the better value for money.

you even get a bigger steering wheel at no extra charge ;)

No pan roof...me TTRS Vorsprung sounds better as well

Hope they keep you updated better than my (Ex Order) Cancelled and got Deposit back last week as didn't even get order Acknowledgement or receipt after placing Deposit when the Order Books opened 9/8/21 Now Placed order for Vorsprung Edition in Kemora though Griffin Military & Diplomatic (Boundless) with just over 8% Discount + VAT Exempt due to Disability Expected Delivery May 2022

That was an order Direct with the Lincoln Audi Dealership looks like the service/communication though a Broker/Agent is far better but suppose will have to reserve judgement until Customer Cars start arriving
 
There is no direct communication with audi Lincoln, everything is through MSG and so far I have zero complaints with their service

I actually don't like the HUD. Used to think they were quite cool as well. My girlfriend's 128ti has the HUD and she hated it so turned it off on her driving profile and I kept mine on, but actually begin to find it really distracting and in the way especially during night time driving so I also turned it off.

In cars with heated front screens I find I 'zone in' on the little heater wires running top to bottom and cant stop seeing them, i'm not convinced I would get on with the HUD either

I contacted a good handfull of dealers in the nearish area today trying to find a car I could look at and possibly demo drive (If I dont get a demo drive i'm backing out of the car, the last thing I will do is drop close to £60K on a car I havent driven)

My ordering dealer is saying their week 36 car hasnt been built yet, something I am not 100% sure I believe, two other dealers said they had sold their demo car before it even arrived but ''another is on it's way next year''

Talk about shooting your self in the foot Audi.

The dealer probably isn't talking crap. There's a chap on here who has a similar build week and his isn't build yet either.. it's a launch edition also.
