What's it connected to?
Remember I had a CarPlay unit retrofitted a couple of years back? It incorporates the functionality to run parking cameras front and back in conjunction with the OEM sensors. The loom includes two video-in connections to connect the cameras. I had the rear camera put in at the time of the original retrofit, using a replacement boot release handle with built-in camera. The front camera came from AliExpress, and is in a rectangular housing that slots straight into the grille aperture. It was just a two-wire install; the video cable to the CarPlay unit and a power cable to an ignition live of my installer's choice. It was put in yesterday at my indie while the car was in for MOT and inspection service.
