Im soon going to be remapping my audi

Audi A3 8p 2.0 Tdi 140 s-line 2009 CBAB

I will have
Induction kit
Milltek carback non res
Decat/DPF removal

what gains do you think il have after remapping and should i be aware of anything else i can upgrade. Also any videos of sound and performance would be lovely haha

Stage 1 gives ~180 HP on most tuner's webpages, so I'd expect close to 200 HP for a stage 2 tune.
In case some of the stock components aren't powerful enough, think about injectors, fuel pump, and possibly fuel lines (and pressure regulator).

I got the same year and engine code as well. I belive anything other than a stage 1 tune that gives around 185hp is waste of money tbh. Doing intake will get you around 190 possibly. I think mine was not fitted with dpf, and doing exhaust mods to a diesel is nothing but a waste of money in my opinion., as the sound is not any better than stock.

Well i managed to get a milltek at a cheap price so that with the decat will give me some gains and exhaust sound does change with these millteks i just dont want it sounding like a tractor lol

Do you know about the poor filtration of such filters ?
Works fine for me. I know these not much difference as power goes but i like the noise it makes and it feels more quicker on acceleration. Plus will be better once remapped etc as will be less restricted on air flow compared to the original filter box

I'd be surprised if it was restrictive .

Noise - drill a few holes in the right places .

This is an old 1.9 tdi 130 bhp oe panel air filter flattened out , all that surface area of good filtration and not restrictive .

Bare in mind that is paper filter as stock and not much air can pass through where as the aftermarket filters allow more air intake and are cleanable and dont need replacing.

Here's my Ramair back in the day , sounded wonderful .

But at least the seller a Toyota Celica tuner was realistic and had actually dynoed and said 0 hp but a 7ftlb gain .

A 2002 VAG 1.9 TDI 130 hp ex owner a certain moderator here on ASN had it pushing near 200 bhp with stock air filter and bigger BV43 170 bhp turbo .

He dynoed it without the stock air filter in and it made 1 hp .

So I can't see a 2009 2.0 TDI 140 hp being restrictive , a waste of money .

Guess what Ferrari and Lambourghini use...

Ferrari air filters

Lamborghini Gallardo Air Filter Oem 07L133843

You might be able to avoid such unnecessary cost with psychology by writing on the packaging of oe.
