bought a new rear wiper motor and arm, trim came off fine as did the old motor and arm, new motor went back on and so did the arm.

Put the arm on the splined shaft, set it at 3 oclock where it parks and when it runs on it's way back it judders and makes a right load of unhealthy noise!

surely this motor can only be fitted one way?

When i pull the wiper arm up off the screen there's no resistance in the motor.

Also, is there some sort of tube that fits on end of the spline because the water just trickles out of spline.

When I changed mine to Q5 arm it was juddery with the blade that came from Audi, changed to Valeo and it was fine. I did have rain-x on the rear screen at the time, that could have been part of the reason.

There is a plastic nozzle with two jets that pushes on to direct the water to the window
