Hi Guys.
My wife's A5 needs a service shortly. Her log book states full service (Audi Stamped).
Can anyone advise please
How I find out what historically has been done?
So that I can Have an idea what is need to be done on the next service.
Thank you for help?
Steve.

Full service, well oil & filter, air & pollen filter. Maybe (if it's petrol) spark plugs, but doubtful.

Minor service is just oil & filer.

Other works (gearbox oil, brake fluid) done on time or mileage. For instance DSG is 38k miles. Brake Fluid 3 years.

What the vehicle is, it's age, and mileage might help.

HOW IMPRESSIVE MY FRIEND!
Thank you for your helpful advise
The Car is a A5 S Line TFSI 2.0ltr B8 KCDNCF1 Variant? Convertable. first registered 09/2012.
She has just popped out so i cannot be exact but the mileage is in the low 40's I think. Any different and I will let you know?
It was serviced with an Oil change I believe at 35,790 miles when we bought almost 1 year ago. (8/8/2019.
what do you recon.
Many Thanks Steve.

If it's new to you, I'd get a full service done - by a good VAG Independent specialist, not Audi. If it's got a DSG gearbox then I'd get it done too, and to be honest the brake fluid for peace of mind. Then you know it's done properly. I don't know if that engine has a timing chain or belt - I suspect chain as it's 2l petrol B8 (with the EA888 engine I guess, my B8 2014 had that) but again, a good specialist independent should be able to tell you. If it's chain it good "for life" apparently.
