my power boot hasn’t been closing off the switch for a while and I knew there was corrosion on the switch from a previously leaky wiper so I popped a replacement switch on. Only that hasn’t changed a thing...

switch still lights up. Looks like someone has replaced it in the past as all wires are yellow. I bridged wires 2 and 3 which should make it shut but again nothing.

pin 2 earth is good but I can’t seem to find where pin 3 goes to. I’m assuming the bcm behind the rhs panel?

does anyone have a wiring diagram so I can hopefully trace it all the way through and replace the wire.
Cheers.

I don't have the diagrams but most of the time wiring issues in the tailgate are caused by broken wires in the grommets between the tailgate and the roof. I'd start there.
