Looking to improve headlights of my cab, is lot of them on eBay etc but I can’t decide what I want, was looking on internet to find some videos (I’m one of this who need to see/fit before buying). Any of you changed headlights to aftermarket ones and have pics/videos of them? Another option was use yellow foil, made myself one of headlights before and looks pretty awesome, unfortunately didn’t take any pics.
 
Sedan and Avant are the same, cabs are different.

Another option is to smarten up your own and if your a bit handy upgrade the stock units. There are lots of options out there to give them a modern look. "Have a look at what have you done to your car" thread, I just did mine.
 
Different shape I'm afraid, they took similar but they are not so there is no way of retro fitting them you your car. Took a look online and there is nothing out there for you so I would suggest upgrading to projector lights from a cab if you haven't already got them which will mean an adaptor for the plug. Then open them up and spray the trim black.

If you feel adventurous, then you can add angel eyes LED indicators/DRL strips and just upgrad the bulbs to LEDs.

Another option if you dont want to do any of that is speak to EM tuning who is a light specialist who might be able to offer you some options.
 
If the cab lights are different (which is bazzare anyway) why would some aftermarket lights that say they fit saloon, estate and cab work? Either the cab lights are the same or the aftermarket lights are wrongly listed?

Personally i think docurley is wrong I'm sure they are the same throughout the saloon, estate and cab obviously id like to be proven wrong but there’s certainly no difference in look, and from what i can find online part numbers seem the same and all seem to fit across all models.

Ive always been under the impression there’s no difference either across the difference models.

I send mail to seller anyway just to confirm headlights will fit my car, because after I add my car on eBay shows will not fit to my car.

Yeah like i said i could be wrong bit personally never know or heard of cabs having different headlights that would mean the bonnet, bumper and possibly wings would then be different which just wouldn't make sense from a design point of view and just in general so id be very surprised if they was different.
 
Easy way to see if I'm incorrect is go to eurocarparts and have a look, Cabs have limited option and different part numbers from a saloon/avant.

Wouldn’t necessarily mean they wouldn't fit just makes no sense why they would change headlights on the cab when the front don't need to change only the rear does? Like i said happy to be proven wrong but really don't get why they would be different and certainly don't look different.
 
Just from eBay, this same seller “this same” headlights but two different ads for different models...?

Just got answer, headlights are this same in b7. I think only issue is if you have standard xenon headlights.

Aye just got another email about fitting, some of aftermarket headlights are plug and play but DRL ones usually you have to play a bit with wires to connect them together.

Hey pieruss did you get the headlights in the end ? Only im jumping on the bandwagon here and would like to know the answer too..ie fit and wiring etc.

Hey nah not yet, just had to add it to late to do list. Had few jobs front of it and my bank account don’t like it..

Now you know they’re the same as Avant/Saloon would you not consider upgrading to Xenons?

Cheap enough to convert these days
