Has anyone experienced a faint ringing noise coming from the engine bay while driving their facelift S3? Note, this is not the waste gate rattle as seen on the pre-facelift models, as it's more of a metallic ringing/bell noise like when you rattle a pair of keys.
It get this noise under two conditions:

It get this noise under two conditions:
- When in 6th or 7th gear between 2-3.000rpm and then giving mid to heavy throttle. Then the noise is pretty pronounced but it's very high pitch.
- When releasing the throttle from 3.000rpm in lower gears as well. I can hear the sound very slightly here while the rpms drop but it's less pronounced than applying throttle in the higher gears.
