Hi all.
So I have parking sensors on the back of the a5 I've just bought. None on the front . But when in reverse....NOTHING!.. no beeps no sound. No parking sensors...
When I go into the menu on the screen the parking assist option is the only one in grey and will not let me select it.
My question. Do I have parking sensors. If so . Why are they not working. I've also noticed my 12v charger sockets are not working.... are they connected electrically.
May be fuse . But I cannot see any broken fuses.
I would much appreciate any help towards this.
Thsnks.

Any pics of the sensors, as it's greyed out in the mmi they're probably oem, but as no beep to confirm fault, it could be dead or just no power to the unit.

12v sockets usually it's fuse related.

This is the menu

They're OEM, so systems down, is it under any warranty, if not, whereabouts are you located?

Audi warranty or aftermarket?

Ok better ring them as they're not the kindest.

No worries, if not covered, give me a shout to repair.

jst jumping on the thread, but the fuse for the 12v is in the boot on the right side (not in the dashboard with the others), I have popped one on every car I have ever owned, super common and says on the plastic cover which fuse it is :)

The parking aid sensor fuse could be Fuse Panel A - slot 12 below(should be driver side) but check on the inside of your plastic cover incase it is not the exact same fuse on your model, I would check this hasn't blown too, just swap it out even if it looks OK, to be sure:
