A6 Avant (2018) Boot equipment query

Hi, does anyone know what the circular bit of kit does in the A6 Avant (2018) boot under the floor cover (this sits where the spare wheel would normally go), Audi part number 4KO.035.914 it’s got a supply so assume it does something?

It’s the sub woofer. I think it fits inside the spare if you have one.

Oh yes, never ever thought it was the sub, I’ll check this out tomorrow, thanks for the advise.

Just a tad bit extra info: the sub fits there with or without a spare wheel - I sourced an aftermarket spare wheel and the sub fit perfectly on top.
