Hi I'm try and make it short as possible but recently bought a rear end damaged a5 sportback, it's had 2 new quaters and back panel and second hand tailgate, the tailgate came with dynamic light (sweeping indicators) the plugs were the same just had sliders slightly offset and the replacement tailgate plug had 1 extra wire going into the plug compared to mine, been quoted £180 to apparently wire it up and get sweeping indicators working but couldn't book it in straight away so i had no choice to play with it myslef within 10 mins I got all the lights working including the indicators but they don't sweep which I'm thinking has something to do with this spare wire,
My question does anyone know where i need to wire it upto?
I had a similiar issue with my a3 with s3 cockpit and had to wire from the clock to the fuel pump to get fuel reading, so can do the work just need someone to advise if anyone knows
I know where to wire up on the plugs but not sure where on my convenience system central control unit (pin number)
