Fitting APR intake

Anyone fitted this? I’m considering a purchase but wondering how easy the inlet pipe is to fit?

Sadly not, you need to also fit the cold side inlet pipe to fit it to. Just thinking about access and not having to mess about disconnecting stuff to fit it. Oh and my knuckles too!

I was looking at the wrong vehicle. Does just look like jubilee clips though. I imagine it will be simple if you have a small ratchet and sockets.

You might need some of those weird pliers to get some of the clips off. Just watched an eventuri (spelling) intake being fitted on YouTube and they used some of those pliers on one of the pipes. Not sure if normal pliers would do the job too.

Going to be fitting both the forge inlet and apr intake on my 2019 car soon, just waiting on a few more bits before I do
 
I ran the Integrated Engineering intake, really easy fit on the driveway in about 30 mins, using the 4-3" reducer. I can only presume it's similar for the APR kit - easier without the whole airbox section to shoe-horn in the engine bay.

Fitting the Forge inlet looks like a bitch, especially getting the old one off first with that security bolt (need a dremel). I took it to Forge and paid them to fit it...
 
The turbo inlet is best fitted when you can gain good access from underneath - a hydraulic ramp being the easiest way. I had MRC fit mine when they were fitting the Scorpion downpipe. Top Tip: If you want to use the gold heat reflective tape, wrap the damn pipe before the turbo elbow is fitted to the car (I forgot and ended up doing it the hard way ha ha!). I combined the Forge turbo inlet with the Forge larger air intake pipe (also gold wrapped) and all fitted really nicely. The combined parts with the stage 2 custom tune made good power too.

The Forge turbo elbow has a much larger inlet than the stock part....

I used the Forge gold heat reflective wrap to help with under bonnet heat management for the intake ( I am told it works). Not everyone's choice to have gold coloured parts under the bonnet. The wrap is not especially neat but it was my first attempt at doing it.
