Good evening everyone I would like to ask a quick question I intend to put a ttrs bbk 4pot kit in my car and would like to ask if with my wheels as an ultraleggera 8x18 Et45 I will need spacer? thank you very much
I have been looking to do the same thing but be careful, people are asking more for TTRS calipers now than brand new Brembo's.......and the TTRS are just Brembo's anyway Vagbrem do a kit using the same callipers and call them Aston martin.
will these fit behind my stock BE rotors Sam ?
Cheers Sam, i have 12 rear and 10 front at the moment. I may just change the wheels as these are starting to corrode under the paint. shame because i wanted to keep it outwardly std. Bit of a sleeper
Yes they will fit, i just fitted mine behind Ultraleggra, running the 370mm discs leaves very very little clearance inside the barrel of the wheel, however from the back of spokes to the face of the caliber i have around 3mm so plenty, currently very pleased with the set up. I'm running m1144 pads, hel lines all round, rbf660 fluid and upgraded rear discs. Stops well however summer I'm changing to ap discs and RS29 pads
Probably easier to buy some red paint and some Brembo stickers.
Its difficult to know if 4 pots will really make a huge difference, the limiting factor is more likely the disc dia. by the time the 8v came out the std audi RS caliper was an 8 pot....
Pads are probably more important for road use where overheating and fade is not likely to be such a problem.
