I’ve had a search but can’t seem to find a definite yes or no to this ..

On the 09 A3, can it be set so the lights come on when the car is unlocked, as well as the unlock / lock beep?

Also sure I remember reading somewhere that the Fogs can be set to come on as cornering lights?

Whilst it’s no VCDS, Carista can do all the above during the free trial. £16 from Amazon and simple to use.

My S3 is 2009 and I enabled coming home / leaving home and cornering lights with Carista without any problems.

Does your S3 have the auto lights?

I’ve enabled both on mine, the coming home lights work ok (have to tap the main beam stalk though) but lights don’t come on when I unlock it?

Mine doesn’t have auto lights. I either enabled coming home or leaving home (I can’t remember which and my trial has run out). If I enabled both my headlights were on all of the time whilst driving with DRLs. Set as it is my leaving home lights come on when I unlock the car and my coming home lights come on when I take out the ignition key.

It’s strange, I can see the option for it now in the DIS, but even when enabled it doesn’t work. Really bugging me.

My last car (A4 B7) had auto lights and the coming / leaving home option was set manually with switches on the dash.
