Service spanner removal

Hi guys,

Family member serviced my Audi A3 11 reg s-line.
The oil has been reset but tried removing spanner icon but to no avail.

Do I need to go Audi so they can remove it? Don’t really want it bleeping every time start and remove keys

Either any garage can remove it or yourself via vcds

Either that or I’ll go to a garage

Vehicle computer diagnostic system. If you don’t have it easier to go to a garage and pay a small fee £

Or buy an OBD diagnostic tool that plugs into the socket under the dash. You can then remove the service spanner and do some fault diagnostics yourself. Look up Carista OBD2.

Have a look at our vcds map and see if there is a member close to you who can do it for you. Vcds map link in my signature

I always thought it was Vag Com Diagnostic System, every day is a learning day haha.
