Avon tyres: Any one experienced them? Im due a tyre change.

I am due to change my front tyres. Originally I had Michelin Pilot on and wasn't impressed. I then went to Dunlop SP Sport 1 and they where OK, but neither of them have lasted very long at all.

I was looking at getting something like Bridgstone Turanza T005, which is more of a touring tyre, but the Avon ZV7 keep catching my eye and seem to get good reviews.

I know people who have used Avon and now wont have anything else and at nearly £20 a corner cheaper than the Dunlop or Bridgestone.

Anyone on here use Avon tyres? What are they like?
 
Last Avon tyre I used was over 20 years; they were called the ZV3. They were pretty poor.

I had the zz5s on my focus st a few years ago, decent enough but nothing special. For the last 6 years I've always used the goodyear eagle f1s I'm on the f1 5s now and they are a brilliant all round tyre for a decent price.

Thought about the ZV7 when looking for new tyres in early summer, but eventually went with Rainsport 3's from Oponeo. Great price and delivery, couldn't fault them. I recommend you check Oponeo nomatter which brand of tyre you go for.
 
Only ever use Goodyear eagle F1 Asymmetrical. Have for years on BMW's and now both audis imo brilliant tyre
