So it was a very wild night in Glencoe, windy and cold made for only a few hours of sleep. Didn't even fancy getting out of the tent for a astro shot which would have been awesome

Been there several times mate, love the place. Every time myself the missus and daughter go we climb Cairngorms a different route. I camp out in a brick single story tent (apparently its called a bungalow lol) in Aviemore. Going back again in August, perfect terrain for the Landy.oil, filter, front discs and pads ready for another scotland trip...cairngorms this time.
need to rent a parking spot on @Audi Bairn ranch and leave the landy up that way
First time ever visiting this area! Think I'm stopping Braemar way, walking from Glenshee ski center I think giving us a good start height wiseBeen there several times mate, love the place. Should’ve come further north. We were on holiday on the Moray Coast and got sunburnt (first ever motorhome holiday)
Sunburnt in Findhorn and Lossiemouth last Tuesday and Wednesday mate.i take it you never got the sun burn this weekend!?!
found it so weird how different the cairngorms are compared to the western highlands, bizarre!
stopped in braemar for the night...you ever visited The Fife Arms?? a seriously well finished place that is
Forgot i had this one from last weekend, another visit to wrynose pass for more Wainwrights!...not the beer

personally I'm not a believer that you must start from the valley floor, if you really want to say you've walked all the wainwrights properly you should walk only one hill at a time, no linking fells and staring from the valley floor? But I've never met another person yet who agrees with thatI thought the idea was to walk up them?
cheers man, in need of some stone chip touch ups and a good detail....but its never going to happen soon!!That vehicle is immaculate and has some serious roof mounted Led lighting, plus the hounds are just as stunning.

As ever, loving your vehicle (and dogs) Matt...... great pic! Those observant ones might realise the roof tent isn't on the roof! It has been recalled due to something I pointed out, so new one, complete different style, on order for july-mid august, but will have much more room inside and a third of the rack freed up for storage for any long trips.

beats my 11 months!! and i thought that was good going! The record for all 214 is less than a week, I think, so I doubt the holder went up and down each time!
I'm much too far away to consider doing them myself but if I were to I'd probably use the same routes as Wainwright did when he wrote the original guides.
finally got it out on a lane int' dales

spoilt by two de-catted defenders rattling their way along the lanes!Love the dales, beautiful place.
Last few nights have been cleaning and blasting all the gunk out of the chassis with an airline, then wax oiling the rot box...jokes aside my chassis is pretty mint.
Then wax oil over spray got my a*se Into gear, bust out the polisher, not going for perfection, just bringing the beautiful green back.
To coat, or not to coat....always had beadmaker in mind

decided its not really worth the cost when the paint isnt anywhere near corrected, and and hardly swirl free, just bringing it back to life a bit, trying to avoid getting sucked into caring for the paint as I'll be honest, i dont miss it one bitJust go for a One stage ceramic....Gyeon Pure....nowhere near as much work involved mate.....Top up with Gyeon Cure
