I would just like to know what 0-60 to expect out of the remap and if anyone can let me know if it is a good remap.

Standard is 6.8s 0-60
178bhp after remap will go up to 210bhp

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I currently drive a 8P 160bhp standard with a remap on I was looking at a 8v s3 but they are expensive so have resulted in looking at a a3 1.8 Quattro 178bhp. Hoping a map would make the car exciting to drive. The 0-60 standard seems fairly quick I think a stage one map would make the car nippy.

I am from Gloucester.

The 1.8T is paired with the IS12 turbo, which is the smallest of the turbo options on the EA888 Gen 3 engines. A Stage 1 remap will improve torque and hp to an extent, but you will not be getting the top end power the S3 will have with the IS38 turbo. That being said, the IS12 is quick to spool and build boost, which makes the car very drivable in day to day use.

An option is to swap in an IS20 turbo, coupled with a tune. This will give you better performance, and closer to a stock S3 territory. I would hesitate to drop in an IS38, as it will be slower to spool in day to day driving.

I do drive the very same car, and still deciding if a dtuk or a Revo map.
