I have a 2.0 tdi (BLB) and the engine mount on the passenger side has failed... It's the one with the electrical connector/sensor of some sort in, and is an Audi only part.

Apart from the connector/sensor does anyone know if the mount is the same size and fit as the drivers side? . .

If so I'd be tempted to buy an aftermarket part and either leave the sensor unplugged or put in a resistor so it doesn't throw a fault...

On my brother's B6 1.9 TDi he had a failed engine mount with a plug, he fitted a regular one without plug in it's place as that one was way cheaper I guess. If I remember correctly he didn't fit resistor because the fault inly came up in VCDD scan, but not on DIS so he just left it so.
Also for part availability - MALÒ also makes engine mounts for BLB - haven't heard about them though, don't know If they are any good.

Thanks for sharing... I've a feeling most the mounts are a similar shape and size tbh, so just going to have a punt with a cheap aftermarket one.

Will let you all know how I get on!
