I absolutely love my Audi but this steering wheel looks horrible
Any ideas please ?

All depends what wheel you already have fitted mine was a plain wheel took a bit of sorting but if you have MFSW I think it’s more or less straight swap someone fitted mine buts there’s some clever people on here who know more than me.

Still has a massive blob in the middle ughhh

Your only other Audi option would be one of the new style ones with the smaller ‘blob’ haha.

Not sure how much you want to spend on a steering wheel as they are going for around £500-700 plus you’d have to do some research to find someone who can fit it.....if it can be done at all......

Other than that it would be an aftermarket jobbie that probably wouldn’t have an airbag.

Yeah the flat bottom bit always sells.
I just want a b5 lookalike steering wheel.

I've got a wheel from an A5 i believe. I already had a MFSW but this one has silver stitching, silver button trims and the s line logo, so brightens up the interior a little. I do fancy a flat bottom though from a TT/A3

Are these wheels a straight swap into a b7 with MFSW. Any airbag wiring differences?

I think they are nearly a straight swap lad who fitted mine mentioned about an airbag wire.
If you have cruise and MFSW the steering module will support the MFSW I’m lead to believe.
I had to change modules just had a basic wheel in my car.

Sound, its mainly just airbag wiring then.

Ye I think so I’m more mechanical than electrical but they’ll be clever people on here than me
Good luck

That's identical to mine in my b7 convertible...

I like it, i think it the silver stitching and trim really breaks up the otherwise dark grey dash. The silver mirror adjuster switch make a huge difference too in my opinion

I have a 2014 TTRS flat-bottomed MFSW with airbag, which I have yet to fit.

apologies for crashing the topic gents.
I have two cars atm, want to swap the steering wheels and audio.
car1 has a basic 3 spoke wheel and cruise control , audi concert unit.
car 2 has the same 3 spoke SW with the multifuntion buttons, RNSE unit.
I want to place the MFSW and the RNSE to car 1 and match with the cruise control.
what exactly do I need to do, to get on with this, is it just a plug and play case , or is coding necessary?

I fitted cruise to my Avant and it was a piece of cake, i also have factory fit MFSW so i dont know whether thats makes a difference, ecu wise??

Try having a look around for RNSE and MFSW retrofits on here, you should find everything you need to get the job done
