Who has the dirtiest a3/s3

Never had a problem with frozen doors on a 3. The pillar less doors on a 5 coupe were a very different matter. A real pita!! Once door opened it wouldn’t shut due to window glass not automatically dropping. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah me, all the time.
A quick solution is to run an old bank card, shell card that type of thing around the window rubber particularly the long flat strip from left to right to break the ice seal
Then it's OK.
Obviously keep this on your person and not in the car I must add

Should have mentioned, sold the 5 coupe in 2011

Pretty sure this was white when I bought it.. I'm actually a little bit ashamed. Anxiety levels are high.

Gotta love a dirty car though for a while anyway.
It's like a dirty mountain bike.
It's done its job.
But can transform into a thing of beauty with a wee bit suds

But I live down south and mine is filthy as ... And tbh, the A3 is our workhorse and a proper daily. I am not surprised at how dirty it gets just couple of days after the wash. I have two young boys, with their football training and matches and fortnightly London runs there is no way the rain will do anything to it. I am really looking forward to Mwrch onwards where at least I'll be able to clean it once every two weeks if not weekly.

. One rain and it's all melted even on the hill-tops we've down here. We don't have any 'peaks' here anyways .

True mate. I am so looking forward to taking out the polsiher as the A3 needs some serious correction and care. And a BSD top-up oof course

Yup, a week of snow, frost then damp salty roads. Combined with me on building sites and hey presto!
On Saturday the sun dried the roads out but I’ve NEVER seen salt dust like it especially on the motorways. Was like fog!
