hi. i m new here.,,, nice to meet you
ive just bought an A3 2017 S-Line (the one with the 5 arch 18inch wheels) 1.5 tsi Evo 150ps
i was an 8l S3 owner till lately!!

some questions...
1)it has the sport suspension with 15mm lower. can i install Bilstein B6 sport with the same height(springs)? (i had one in my S3 and it changed it for the best)...
2)can i tune the engine? just to give it 25-30hp more. the previous 1,4tsi was easily upgradable
3)is it worthy to upgrade some parts with carbon? mine is the metallic Blue(Cosmoblue)... i found a site in Germany ,where they hand make carbon parts

1. Unless your new car has Quattro then probably won’t fit. S3 has multi link rear suspension and the fwd don’t.

2. Remap, plug and play boxes should get you a little bit more power. Think mtm, dtuk do boxes for that engine.

3. It’s all aesthetics so whatever floats your boat.

no, ill sold the S3 car alltogether with the bilstein. i want to buy again the B6 Sport. will it fit with the sport Springs the A3 Sport has??
i cant find the big companies upgrading the 1.5 EVO. (ABT ect). is it safe using parallel cpu box?
visuals are the last thing for now... but the site i found is eye-porn <3
 
its only some models that dont have independent suspension. My 1.4 TFSI has independant all round but i serviced a diesel a3 last week that had a trailing arm.

You need to share that site:icon thumright: I’m looking for a few carbon bits to break up the black trim on mine.

Not too sure if the sport springs will fit the B6. Might be worth emailing a trader or bilstein and see as they will have certain specs for it to match.

The 1.5 is fairly new engine so I’m guessing it will just be a matter of time for the chips/remaps etc to come out.

yes, im not into using aftermarket box. and the 1.5EVO is now used to alot of types and brands in the VW group....
will there be and for the S-tronic any mod?

for my 8L S3 i ordered them by code from the official retailer for Greece, i might need make a call to them ... again

what car do you have? S3 8v? the outside blue carbon parts would be too much? ;-)
yes inside a little blue special touch woulb fit perfect

750 euro for carbon grab handles!! Think I need a lottery win to pay for the parts.
 
yep , i wouldnt give 750 for handles,,,,,
inside only the center console... all together 3 part.
the MMI part 910euro
the cupholders and gearknob 310euro
the front part 520euro
and the covers from the seats.... (the first thing you see)
my interior is the Design Light with the brushed alum

from the outside only 3 things for my car (S-Line)
the front bumper grills 315euro
the front grill frame 880euro
and the raverse (yes THIS WILL LOOK F.... awesome) 825euro

I do mine as well but never realised I could carbon fibre almost every panel inside and outside the car. It’s like opening a whole new world of carbon bits.
Before I looked I thought maybe mirror covers, bumper grills and the interior strips. Now there colour choices and carbon almost any panel.
The MMI part with cup holders looks great!!

yes my interior suggestion ... for your car
only the MMI part and the cup holders too with Blue Carbon
the front part make it mono pur (like i will)
i will dress and the handrest on the doors with vinyl with blue-stiching

but first i must find an f/l S-Line Steering wheel ,flat bottom, with paddles ........
i bought my car from Germany and it has the standard circle one ......
i found one at ebay... im waiting if i find something else from Greece
