@Flying Scotsman
Kylesku bridge to lochniver is possibly one of the most stressful roads I've driven one

Got a few pics with Suilven in the background, hope they come out good

Those single track roads, will get your attention!! If possible take the A832 after Ullapool round the coast and either continue round the coast (A896) or go to Achnasheen and take the A890 through to Auchtertyre and continue to Skye. Both routes are very scenic and great driving roads, not too much single track.
A stop off at Plocton is well worth the effort. A very pretty village with a good pub on the waterfront and a view to behold.

Port Appin on the west coast is worth a look, its a bit off the beaten track but the food in the Pier House Hotel and Restaurant is lovely. Its just off the water's edge and the view is fantastic.

Port Appin is off the coast road from Ft William to Oban (A828)

First stretch you come across just pass tongue? Coming John o'g going anticlockwise isn't bad, you can see a fair way ahead....but that 30 miles to lochniver, it has everything!!

Will have to pass but thanks for the recommendation! Need to go through Glencoe...photo opportunities ya know

On a side note, one thing I'm surprised about up here....the lack of fish n chippys, yes it's always on the menu at places, but very few dedicated chippys??!?!

Carlsberg works car park View attachment 159654

for the parking @jassyo06 . I did the same the other day in a completely empty car park while waiting for Mrs. T. A fella in a BMW turns up and asks me to move as he wanted to park his' in the next bay. So, I looked around at the empty car park and pointed at one of the empty bays. However, he was adamant he would only park next to me. So, I obliged, moved the car so that he could park in next bay and as soon as did I moved out and parked in the exact same way in the bay next to his', turn off the engine, windows down, look at him and just smile

There's a cracking chippy in Oban, not far from the ferry terminal one street back if I recall.

Glencoe is stunning, there is a car park by the 3 sisters, you'll need a mega early start to find it empty enough to 'strike a pose'. Alternatively there's always Jimmy Savilles 'love shack' a bit further up for an alternative back drop

Thanks.
The house has been completely renovated inside last year. When I say completely, I mean completely. We removed all the drywall from walls and and rebuilt the base floor, since it had rot. Also the bathroom was completely gutted and rebuilt including the sauna.
Now I am doing the rainwater draining for it. And after that is complete I will build a terrasse and a new garage.
And also painted outside. The roof sides will be done this summer and also the roof will be repainted later this year.
Very impressive. Great job.

There's a lack of anything to be fair Matt, in terms of facilities lol

They were talking of demolishing that cottage due to continual vandalism, is it still there?

I realised that when I asked someone if I was ok parked where I was (no lines egg so wasn't sure)

Got told there are no traffic wardens up here don't worry :tearsofjoy:

Don't think I'll get the pic in Glencoe I'm imagining, I'll be going through there at like 1 in the afternoon, and iv been needing a lower focal length lens this whole trip, you are that close to all the mountains it's hard to get them and the car in frame :blownose:

It will be difficult at 3 sisters for sure. If you head south from Glencoe, there's great scenery all the way down the A82. I'm sure you find a spot, from memory there's a car park on the edge of ridge with great views to South

Nice one, and very good price for 25kg. Stupid question, but I assume whole 25kg bag isn’t needed in 7l tank

No, should only need approx 7L to fill it

They are really good on dark roads at night... to put it simply you can drive around with your main beam on without worrying about other road users. Clever tech. Visually you of course get the sweeping indicators front aswell as the rear. They look nice and crisp too especially if you know what you are looking at spec wise.

Whether its worth the money or not is a difficult question depends how much you value the above. Its also nice to have a rare extra. Not many people go for the matrix im guessing its based on the opinion its not worth the money to upgrade over standard.
