So my emissions/ orange engine light has popped on on my2010 S3 this morning just before Iam supposed to go too Vag at the Manor tomorrow . I pretty sure the O2 sensor has been disabled due to running with a bcs powervalve with there 200 cell sports cat + Apr map. So if it's not the sensor what could it be? And should I make the 2 hr run to the show. Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.
Thanks

Know anybody close by with an OBD reader? .... That'll quickly tell you what the issue is ....

If you just wanted to clear the code you can unplug the battery but then you'll have to set Bluetooth again ....

How long do you have to keep it disconnected for?

Sorry no I don't know of anyone with a reader locally.

Well you know the procedure for removing the battery I assume (negative first disconnected, then last when reattaching) .... Once it's disconnected then you wait for about five minutes if that, then reinstall ....

Codes should be gone ....

Any decent garage or shop should have a code reader .... They sometimes are small Bluetooth things you can buy off eBay/amazon and use with an app .... Some stores should also carry garage type readers
