Driving on the motorway today and every 5-10 minutes I would get a high pitched single continuous beep for about a second or two coming from the instrument cluster. It wasn't the usual warning sound you get to advise of low fuel/low windscreen washer etc but more of a beeping sound a digital watch would make. No warning lights at all have shown at any point. Any ideas?

That was my first thought but I checked the settings and it's set to off. Also set to 90mph if it was on and I didn't hit that speed.

Not had much luck researching the issue. Hasn't happened today on a normal A road short trip. Need to get back on the motorway to see if it happens again.

Nope! It's very confusing. As I said it's a completely different tone to the noise made when accompanied by a light for fuel/windscreen/service etc
Maybe see if you can get the car scanned by someone using VCDS, may point you in the right direction of why it's beep beeping.
Check out the VCDS users section on the Forum, there maybe someone close to you that's willing to scan it for beer tokens.

You know there are two speed limit warnings don't you? There's the one in the MMI and there's another which you can set if you press one of the two buttons in the speedo/rev counter console for a couple of seconds. I can't remember how to set it, but it is described in the manual.
Did either of you find the source of beep? My 2019 TT doing exactly the same and has been in and out of Audi worktop but they have no idea
