Probably going to run 10.5 x 21/22 with the widebody rears, 9.5 x 21/22 fronts. These are fine for now as i cant be ***** sending them back lolYou could always go wider/more concave at the rear?

Afternoon everyone, hope your weekends treating you well.
Managed a late night on friday to strip the front calipers off and strip them in the acid.
Then masked them for powder coating yellow, i matched the RAL chart as close as possible to make it a quicker process.
Added the S6 decals and then lacquered them.
Built them back up with new seals and put them back on the car with the drilled 400 discs.
Then added the 21" Vossen's.
And here is the finished product (assuming the pics haave posted the way i planned, each paragraph should have an image, of not im sure you'll work out which is which)
Hope you like!

Thank you, its nice to hear that its a good choice as sometimes it can be a real gamble. Unfortunately for others, my builds tend to get people thinking, but thats what i like. Makes people think outside the boxLove it. Was questioning yellow but now I have seen them they look the dogs danglies.
I have a feeling this thread is going to end up being expensive for me....

As a company we say "dare to be different" it would be very hypocritical of me if i didnt listen to my own advise. Sometimes i think... not sure about this. But then it grows on me. Fine line between looking amazing and ruin a dam nice car lol! But i do totally agreeWhy be a sheep when you could be the shepherd, the yellow is a nice contrast mate and look good
(I'm not saying that against anyone here of course, just the whole "scene" in general)
They are from Vandit Performance in Germany. Thats all i can tell you. Was mainly for the drilled look as apose to performance. May upgrade again in the future but for now these are perfect for the daily commuteWhat brand brakes discs are they?
Yeah ive had black on the last 3 cars so i thought id change it up abit. Only available in polished and silver or Anthracite. Figured once i curb one i could see how i feel colour wise.Personal preference of course, but I would have gone black instead of silver on the wheels.
I’m sure it’s going to turn out to be an awesome build
Im sure they will end up black at some point, or i may use our new custom colour RS Shadow Anthracite, looks dark but alsp flips to a nice grey. We created it for a delivery mileage RS5 we got from one of our dealersYeah, I see what you mean about getting lost.
I think the car colour has a lot to do with that though
It turns out i didnt see the full post on this build, he fits the rear quarters in the end! Great job and its good to see the joining of the panels is more or less the same as my plans. Very good build. God knows how much hes spent but still a dam good build. So pleased he fitted the quarters in the end. Great reading for my sunday morning. Cant wait ti do mine! This is worth a look if you get some spare time @Craig Cull https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6...imple-styling-a6-saloon-rs6-facelift-2881556/

Yeah he really did go balls deep. I wont be changing the interior, buying ceramics etc. Serious over kill IMO, but then again if its a case of theres nothing else left to do then i may buy ceramics. Happy playing around with the stock set up for now. Just need the panels etc and we can get moving.Yeah he went full out, must have been nearing RS6 money by the time he'd finished lol
Think we're all feeling the same for your build, shall be following it all the way.
Yes but i cant upload them for some reason, im on with it thoughAny videos or sound clips?
