I wanted same wheels for my A6 as well but then went with Judd T311 in the end.
They are a nice wheel also, we put a set on a customers RS6 C7 a few months back in matt gunmetal

Nothing as bad as that when you're waiting for something!

So they arrived yesterday, nowhere near as concave as i wanted but turns out due to the 400mm front brakes the options are minimul, unless you have wide arches..... looks like the deep concave will have to come at a later date.
Front discs also arrived. Didnt go mental with the discs as i just wanted a drilled disc to go behind the massively open wheels. Yellow powder coat arrived yesterday along with the decals, so looks like a weekend of playing with my own car for once!

Also came with 265 not 255. I would have liked more stretch but maybe more protection is more sensible.

Heres some pics, should be all on and finished by Saturday

You could always go wider/more concave at the rear?

Probably going to run 10.5 x 21/22 with the widebody rears, 9.5 x 21/22 fronts. These are fine for now as i cant be ***** sending them back lol

Afternoon everyone, hope your weekends treating you well.

Managed a late night on friday to strip the front calipers off and strip them in the acid.

Then masked them for powder coating yellow, i matched the RAL chart as close as possible to make it a quicker process.

Added the S6 decals and then lacquered them.

Built them back up with new seals and put them back on the car with the drilled 400 discs.

Then added the 21" Vossen's.

And here is the finished product (assuming the pics haave posted the way i planned, each paragraph should have an image, of not im sure you'll work out which is which)

Hope you like!

Top job

I'm going to blame you when Mrs asked why my A6 brake calipers look yellow

Thank you, its nice to hear that its a good choice as sometimes it can be a real gamble. Unfortunately for others, my builds tend to get people thinking, but thats what i like. Makes people think outside the box

Why be a sheep when you could be the shepherd, the yellow is a nice contrast mate and look good :icon thumright:

(I'm not saying that against anyone here of course, just the whole "scene" in general)

As a company we say "dare to be different" it would be very hypocritical of me if i didnt listen to my own advise. Sometimes i think... not sure about this. But then it grows on me. Fine line between looking amazing and ruin a dam nice car lol! But i do totally agree

What brand brakes discs are they?
They are from Vandit Performance in Germany. Thats all i can tell you. Was mainly for the drilled look as apose to performance. May upgrade again in the future but for now these are perfect for the daily commute

Personal preference of course, but I would have gone black instead of silver on the wheels.

I’m sure it’s going to turn out to be an awesome build:racer:

Yeah ive had black on the last 3 cars so i thought id change it up abit. Only available in polished and silver or Anthracite. Figured once i curb one i could see how i feel colour wise.

Not really a diamond cut fan tbh, but i really like the stye of wheel, plus they look huge in silver. Black sometimes get lost, my S3 had 20s but again looked more like 19s

Yeah, I see what you mean about getting lost.

I think the car colour has a lot to do with that though :racer:

Im sure they will end up black at some point, or i may use our new custom colour RS Shadow Anthracite, looks dark but alsp flips to a nice grey. We created it for a delivery mileage RS5 we got from one of our dealers

Yeah he went full out, must have been nearing RS6 money by the time he'd finished lol

Think we're all feeling the same for your build, shall be following it all the way.

Yeah he really did go balls deep. I wont be changing the interior, buying ceramics etc. Serious over kill IMO, but then again if its a case of theres nothing else left to do then i may buy ceramics. Happy playing around with the stock set up for now. Just need the panels etc and we can get moving.

Evening all, been an eventfull few weeks with the S6...

Managed to pick up an RS6 airbox and intake pipe alongside a K&N filter for a good price.

So fitted that when i fitted the decat non resonated turbo back Milltek with oversized downpipes.
To say it it made it touch louder was an understatement lol

Then Saturday i called over to MRC for Stage 2 ECU & TCU sofware.

We arrived with 452ps & 636Nm

We left with 591ps & 847Nm

Launch control limits rather sitting at 5000rpm. Step off the brake and all hell breaks loose. Its safe to say ive never felt a launch like it...
Infact there isnt really any words to describe it without swearing.

Heres some pics, the Super Saloon has completed its first phase of the build.

Hope you like
