yourAudi - Track New Car Order

I was offered a 1.4 sport by Audi on a 3+23 for £226 + vat a month. Is your deal cheaper than that ?
What annual mileage? Did you get maintenance?

I've got 6+23 for £259 inclusive of VAT and fully maintained. 10k miles a year. With £180 fee spread across the monthly payments. So it works out a similar deal. Mine is approximately £500 total more, but that includes both yearly services and tyres. Which is think is worth the extra. If yours includes maintenance I might cry though.

This is my deal https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent-brokers/u-choose-contracts/audi/a4/217134600/

Mine is non maintained and if I need tyres I'll be buying them too. Barring any damage, the tyres should last the contracted mileage out.

I managed to get the black edition for £3 a month more than Audi were offering me on a sport, so I'm pleased with that :)
That's a good deal. I went to my local Audi with the best deal I had found online and asked if they could match it. I was amazed when they said yes.

I opted for the maintenance mainly because the two services run about £400 for the first year and second year and when I spoke to Audi about tyre lifespan on those 19" wheels they told me about 15,000-17,000 miles. And as I plan on doing at least 19,000-20,000 over the two years I didn't fancy paying around £1000 to replace them all just in case. I may never need to, but I'd rather pay the extra £500 over the two years than potentially £1500 on tyres and servicing over the two years.

This will be my first car on such large, low profile tyres and it would kill me having to put on brand spanking new tyres just to hand it back to Audi several hundred miles later.

I've got a 330d X Drive GT at the moment and that only managed 18000 on the rear tyres. That's 268 horsepower and I have spanked it every day so I've only got myself to blame there :) The rears are 255/40/19 run flats and they were £420 the pair fitted for the OE Pirelli P Zero's. The fronts will not need replacing before the end of contract, which is 4th Jan at the latest.

I predict these will last the term but if it needs a set of fronts it won't be a problem. If I am correct these are pneumatic so will be less costly than the run flats at least.

In my experience 19 inch wheels are a ball ache generally, but they look nice. That's why I have fallen for them again. Oh well. . . .

Don't think you will sleep tonight Brandon. Look forward to the pics. Enjoy your collection :)
Yep! I'm keen to see the pics too. Even though mine is the avant I'm keen to see more pics of the BE in black with rotors. Especially de-badged.

Into QC now!

Not too bad considering it was only supposed to start being built today.

Mine is still sat in Emden. Really frustrating now it's been there for almost 2 weeks. What's the typical longest wait time, and is it worth chasing my dealership about it or is there not a lot they can do?

What is the JSON code saying about your order? As in what Status is it at?

Mine tracker is saying " Your Audi is on the way to the UK" with a little picture of a boat. I know a boat dropped of some cars in Tyne port this Sunday morning and i'm kind of hoping my car was on there.

Your's might of been too.... My order status is 39 but I'm hoping it updates tomorrow.

Still status 38 unfortunately. Our cars both arrived to Emden at roughly the same time so I assumed they would be on the same boat, really shows you that there doesn't seem to be any sort of order that they load cars onto the boat. My only thought is maybe you ordered yours earlier than I did and they look at that also? I ordered mine on 6th July.

Sorry to hear that :( My official order date showing on the portal was the 4th of July. I don't have many options on the car so maybe it jumped a Que??

Mine is showing as arrived in the UK today, might be worth have a quick chat with the dealer to see if they have anymore details. I don't there is much they can do as the whole process is controlled by Audi UK.

However it's worth a shot!

Spoke to the dealer (the dealer is literally next door to where I work so very handy) and he was saying that they can't chase it up until the earliest Thursday as that's when it would be "officially" late. He was saying there are a few stuck there because of September orders (understandable, but just frustrating when you see other people's going smoothly)

My car is completely standard, only difference is mine is saloon and yours is Avant (Just assuming from your tags). Maybe they're sorted by model and there's fewer Avants ordered so they get through queue quicker? I'm just speculating wildly really

Great news Neil, unlike mine.

I got a call from the dealer today (car ordered 30/07.....still at status 00) to ask me to come in and sign some more paperwork. Apparently to do with the revised emissions issue and me having to acknowledge that the car they eventually build will have so far unknown emissions and mpg figures! Only after that (when they finally send the doc's to Audi I assume), will the car get a build date. "18" plate is looking likely :-(

I don't know what your spec is but have you asked the dealer if they have a same spec vehicle already on order?

There was a delay with my original order and my sales rep managed to find another vehicle that was ordered the month before to bring my delivery date forward. Worth a try.

Mine finally got on the boat in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The only boat i could see leaving Emden was a one due for Sheerness so I assume it must be on that which seems odd because I (along with my dealership) are all the way up in Carlisle (Scottish borders), either way, at least it's across/almost across here now.

Very odd. Out of the three ports they've picked the one furthest away

I did try that a few weeks ago and the closest they got was including another £2k of extras that I didn't really want, and more importantly, no leather....the one thing I really want. Thanks though.

Tracker has changed my expected build date to 13/11. Anyone aware of any delays affecting BE models. I originally ordered on 4/7 and I'm getting very jealous of all you guys collecting your cars :)

Did you request your car be delivered asap ? Or did you tell them you wanted by a particular date ?

I'd expect it was asap but it was through a lease company using Walton Audi. They originally quoted early October and it's slipped a month :(
I spoke to Audi UK sales last week and they muttered something about a potential allocation problem, but then wouldn't elaborate further. They referred me to my rep who said he didn't know what they were talking about? If you get chance to ask your rep about that please let me know what they say?

As some have said on here before, their build weeks moved about a bit so yours may still come forward by a couple of weeks. Good luck anyway :)

Had this same issue. Something about not having parts for the Alloys. Ordered 6th June. Build date of 21st July. Still nothing, youraudi has been saying QC for about 2 months now.

Anyway called customer service and they provided me with a free A4 rental until my car arrives.

Thanks for the responses folks! I've asked my lease company rep to look into it

Let's see what happens (although a free Audi rental for a month or two would be very nice!)

Mine has finally arrived in the UK, spoke to my dealer today and he confirmed that it did ship to Tyne, said that he should have it at the dealership sometime this week and that I can pick it up next Friday (29th) evening (Full weekend to play with it!)
