Anyone recommend a good bit to get my car remapped? Also what I should go for as iv heard a few ppl getting them done have had loads smoke after remap

If you still have a DPF you won't see any smoke whatever the tuner does. Where are you in the country ?

No I get no smoke at all and I have put my foot down in it too, what I have noticed is 4th and 5th gear acceleration is phenomenal really pulls very well, in the lower gears 1st to 3rd it seems more responsive with no restricted feeling this is probably due to no dpf overall I'm very happy with the transformation of the drivability of the car

Where did you get it done? I once had one tuned to 194hp but when ever you put the foot down it was smoking like mad after a few days and then after 4months the turbo was playing up kept making a noise
If a diesel is putting out a load of smoke that is a poor map. There is no need for it. Excessive fuelling gives raised EGT's and in the long term will cause engine problems with coked up VNT's and poor oil quality along with other issues. All the crud piling out the back finds it's way into the oil.
I had it done at Durham remaps, dpf and egr delete used to put out black smoke wen ever I stuck the foot to the floor, not wen it was driven normally
A Unicorn motor developments map on my Hybrid 3.0 TDI. No DPF 370 odd BHP.
At launch a little puff as the turbo spools, you have to let the lambda drop a little to get the spool quicker, but after that clean.
Just after the start, you may notice the White Golf has morphed into a grey A6.
Bobby Singhs 450BHP 3.0 TDI is just as clean

No didn't win that race, that's @jojo car a 3.0 bi turbo with a tuning box. I fluffed the gear change second to third and he beat me.

Looking forward to having another go on the 1/4 mile and see if I can get it in the 12's. With the clutch mod done recently changes are much better so able to keep the turbo on the boil.
