What have you done to your 8V today?

If you can buy a 40000 grand car, ideally should have money left over to splash
Only if you managed to restrain yourself and duct tape the salesmans mouth shut. I imagine most buyers of the £40k car started out with a budget of £35k ;)

I think @Tom.H Meant the front side arches as they are flared on the RS3 / more pronounced. Did you change these?

Looking good @rcnacura

This is a replica that fits the normal A/S3 fenders so no modifications needed like the OEM version.

Clear mount audi s3 specific phone mount

Funny you mentioned this mod because I installed my Clearmounts three weeks ago and bar none it's the best car mount I've ever used! I rarely do product feedback but this one impressed me enough to comment.

Previously I've not been a great proponent of magnetic car mounts simply because I'm wary of the magnet's effects on mobile phones. Because if this I must've tried 6-7 different car mounts from Amazon: everything from iOttie dash mounts, to expandable vent mounts, to extended cup holder mounts. I even ordered a ProClip custom A3/S3 angled mount. None of them were keepers.

When it was time to try the magnetic mount, I contacted the vendor to make sure I could return it if I had problems with the magnet. I had my doubts but after three weeks of everyday use, it's become one of my fav mods on this car. So far I've not experienced any side affects of the magnet. The holder has beefy magnet that holds my Galaxy S6 Edge and a case with ease and the phone is performing as usual. I'm so content that I can slap the phone on in one motion every time I get into the car. No adjusting mechanical mounts, no expanding arms, no 2-3 steps. It's a super elegant solution for this car's design.

I'm thinking of buying a wireless QI charging pad to put into the bottom of the armrest which plugs into the usb slots and thinking of buying a wireless charging phone case. I'm saying this as I didn't spec the 'Audi Phone Box'. has anyone got this or has any experience of using these?
Cheers gang in advance!

I don't get rapid charging out of either of the USB ports in the armrest. Would lead me to believe that they are both only 1 amp, not the 2.1 that wireless chargers usually need to operate.
Need the clear mount to have a wireless. charging pad built in, and can then hard wire in :)
I've got a couple of wireless pads, so will give them a try.

Dont believe quick charge is available for wireless. At the moment there's no technology with allows fast charge without having a physical cable plugged in.

Updated my black pack navarra with the silver mirrors. I'm loving the new look!

If you have a Samsung phone, they do have the fast wireless charger. You could just mount this on the bottom of the armrest and it should work since the plastic isn't that thick.

My Samsung wireless pads quick charged my Galaxy Note 7. But that's another can of worms :)

+1 for this mount, for my iPhone also got a well concealed fire wire cable so takes a second to put the phone on the mount and start charging the phone.

Everyone who sees this mount wants one even if they don't have an A3

There are plenty of Quick/Fast car chargers out there. All of them use a 12v (cigarette lighter) plug with high USB output to get that power to the wireless pad. Our cars don't have a 12v outlet in the center armrest storage bin, just a USB port that doesn't have enough amperage to support fast charging.

Had the Revo version 4 stage 2 software update put on.

GO PLAY !!

Don't have a coupon code for the site do you?

Wondering if the swivel version is worth going for, or if it would protrude too much and lose the stylishness
