Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift A3/S3 8V In Here

Sure it's been asked before but what do you reckon are the chances Audi offer Sepang as an option again before the next A3 is released, say in the next 2 years or so....?
Probably very slim. It is exclusive at the moment, you can pay for it but it's around £2k if you really want it

I've only had mine 8 months so not looking for a change for at least 2 years in, but won't be paying the exclusive price like :disrelieved:

October 18 eh, closer than I thought it would be tbh. Well I'll hold on to the hope it remains a possibility. Trying to keep costs down so if I move to an S3 in a year or two I will more likely do it with an end of line 8V with the big (ish) discounts they will more likely have.

To be honest with you mate...at the end of production line of the existing car the 8V PFL Audi where firing it out in a lot of exclusive colour's just to sell it off...so yeah good chance Sepang will make a return...Solar orange was everywhere before the facelift car came out

Nice one thanks, fingers crossed then :) it will be a tough choice nearer the time still I reckon though, I genuinely actually like the quality of the interior of my PFL better than the FL. (steering wheel / indicator stalks for example ) it would also annoy me to just have S on the steering wheel and seats too and not S3 (first world problems I know!) as always I guess it'll come down to wonga (and also how good the 8? looks lol!)

Yeah that large S everywhere in the interior....has taken a little exclusivity away from the S3 and every other S car....But its all down to cutting costs....BIG TIME

When it says "cars bought before 1st April 2017" do you think it means cars that were ordered or ones being collecting?
Just got to hope the build day comes forward mate.

I wonder if the dealer could register the vehicle before having it delivered? What would they need..... a VIN number? Does the car need to be in the UK?

My build week starts on the 20th of Feb.... and now kicking myself a little because I'm now wanting get matrix lights. That could affect my start date somewhat so might just have to forget the lights :/

Is retro fit an option!?

Retrofit no...pre register your car before it arrives at the dealerships no....but hopefully your car will arrive sooner rather than later

I think they can register it as soon as it arrives in the UK. My dealer was hoping to do that with mine before the end of the month in order to hit their end of quarter sales targets. They wouldn't register it when it was still on the boat sailing across, and you/they will know the VIN number at the factory build stages.

My FL S3 sportback has the LED headlights but not matrix LED. Front indicators don't sweep. However, I do have the Audi ring puddle lights that people are complaining are missing in another thread (front only)......
Mine haven't got them either, are they supposed to?

Sweeping indicators at the front or ring lights?

Ring lights - Yes should have them if you have an S3
Sweeping front indicators - Should have them if you specced Matrix LEDs at the front

Ring lights - will give the dealer a call on Monday, we were going to ask them to fit them as noticed them for sale when we picked the car up however the £99 quid put me off considering you can get them on eBay for £20.

Looks great!
But some Audi Beam rings will finish it off nicely lol :tonguewink:
Getting the fitted next week, although they've offered me either the rings or Quattro, think I might go for the Quattro.

Personal choice really.
I got the rings retro fitted free of charge my the dealer on Friday and they certainly look good imho but so will the quattro ones.

When it's clean, I thought white was bad

Actually through all the cars and colours I have owned.....White was the easiest to keep looking at its best....Black, Dark Blue and any other dark shade were a nightmare for swirl and the day after you washed them, dust would show up to mask the shiny surface.

Thanks mate, honestly every time I walk passed the window or get in the drivers seat I'm just grinning ear to ear, never thought I'd be in a position to own one and loving every minute of it.

Register vehicle before it's at dealer, no chance. Anything could happen while motor is in transit, optional extras might not be fitted as per your spec, car might be or get damaged in transit and as I had many years ago with new car order (not Audi) when it arrived it was a 5 door, I ordered a 3 door, salesman was so embarrassed but not his fault, complete balls up during production.
You need to see your S3 as soon as it arrives, make sure it's in mint condition, so just wait a little while longer, dealer gets it registered within 24hrs and before you know it you will be driving it.
It's certainly worth the wait, don't rush it, enjoy.

Still don't really see the problem...? If the car is the wrong spec or damaged then you just don't sign the finance docs and pay for it. The dealer definitely wouldn't want to have a car registered to a customer but not paid for, but I couldn't actually tell you when they registered mine in relation to collecting it.

I can't imagine what you are going through, was pulling my hair out waiting 5 days for mine, couldn't face the wait and the showroom car had everything we wanted bar the virtual cockpit. It'll be worth the wait mate!

I'm hoping so, I think we have similar build times! What is it you have ordered out of curiosity? I've gone - Daytona 3dr BE with VC. Couldn't justify paying for the mag ride just for 19's

Hi Mark, just wondering if you could dm me some pictures once the car arrives? I was looking at something like yours (Daytona, sportback and the 19" V design wheels) towards the end of this year (long way off I know but still takes a while to decide!)

Cheers,

Joe
