Hi have a 2005 a4 S line. I am looking to upgrade the steering wheel to a flat bottom 1. What do I need to check to make sure it will mither my car?
Are all the splines the same and wiring for the radio controlled ect??
Any advice is appreciated thanks.

Had a mk2 TT sline wheel fitted to mine. I just had to swap soms wires around for the radio controls on the steering wheel loom and was ok.

Hi Mat, not hijacking your thread mate but as I have a similar query thought I'd ask here instead of creating another thread...

1. Anyone know if it's a T55 Torx required to remove the steering wheel on the B7 8E ?
2. What's the correct torque setting to re tighten the bolt to mount the steering wheel again?

Many thanks.

Yes please Dimitar, I read somewhere it's torx 55 but can't remember where I read it and just want to be absolutely certain it is a t55 before I buy one.

Torque setting for the B7 steering wheel ... Does nobody know this?

You need this - 12 or 3 square spline
If you are near Kent let me know as i got will borrow you one

Thanks pal, that's very kind of you but I'm in sunny Romford!
So how come you took yours off then - you got an aftermarket steering wheel?

Very nice indeed, chrome surround really goes with the rest of the interior.

That chrome trim does look well. How is the airbag removed?

Mat what steering wheel you're looking to get and from where?

To remove air bag refer to the cruise control installation on the A4 sticky.
