Non sliding front seat

i have an A4 cab. When you push the folding seat lever on the front passenger seat it allows you to fold the seat forward and push the seat out of the way to ease access to the rear seats in one action. My drivers seat only slides out of the way if I pull the actual slide lever. Has anyone had this problem and repaired it.

The tilt/slide mechanism on Cab seats tends to get a little cranky. My passenger seat required a good shove to move it with the top corner release handle. Basically the seat back wasn't tilting forward sufficiently to release the slide mechanism.

I used spray grease on the tilt/release mechanism at the hinge and the slider rails. It's now a simple one handed operation. Hope this makes sense.

It does. But I think mine has come in attached. The seat tilts all the way. Just doesn't dis engage the slide lock
