BW 9, 10, 11 & 12

Yep, I'm build week 9. I ordered mid November, I was told initially mid February however I think BW9 will mean mid March. I suppose new reg is a benefit however I'm not particularly fussed.

Returning S3 owner, previously had an 8P followed by a succession of company cars.

I had a killer 9month wait awfull..but the dealer chucked in the comfort pack for free so not bad.

I ordered end of November and I am week 5 ? ....Strange....
 
Build week 10. S3 sport back misano . I've been lurking a while now. Must say thank you to you Bristlehound for keeping me entertained during this long wait with your regular posts.

Ordered end of November through orange wheels / coventry audi , nice discount thank you :) . Nothing offered from Essex Audi my local dealers.

Test drove the S3 straight after testing an M235i . Both very nice cars . The audi put more of a smile on my face and was over 3k cheaper , also with 2 extra doors and the capability to carry 5 if needed (we have 3 kids). Also is was a horrible wet day so I was able to give the audi some beans on roundabouts etc with the quattro.

Ive owned plenty of audis before. My first being a 1993 S2 coupe which was also red (God I loved that car) , but this will be first A3 . Ive just sold a MK7 golf GTD which the S3 is replacing. I've had enough of diesels !!

I almost changed my order to a S3 Saloon in Sepang having looked at some of the photos on this site. But having seen sepang in real life it is a much lighter blue. Also being an Arsenal fan a blue car is a big no no.

How about you BH, is your car built now and just waiting till March ?

Mine was ordered from Northampton Audi and as far as i know is still BW5
 
My order form was processed last week. I've yet to hear a provisional date for delivery or build week. Has anyone who ordered at the latter part of last year/beginning of this year been given there's?

I want it now :(

Oh, and I ordered through Coventry Audi. With all the orders placed there I hope this doesn't push them back in the pecking order!

Ordered end of March, was given build week 9, then just before the festive break it went to 11.
For all those who think they're having a rough ride because their build week has not come up within the space of two weeks think again..........:(

Sig says 9.....must change.

You ordered in March 2014 ?????? and got BW9 2015? ......You sure about that.....

That is ridiculous !!!! I could never wait that long ..... I am struggling with a 3 month wait. I hope they are giving you some freebies for the inconvenience?
 
Well im officially in build week 12 now. So hoping mid april will have the car. The odd thing is i am yet to sign an order form, this is my third new car and find that odd.
 
My dealer has stated, 'today still showing code 10 build week 09 but average is six weeks before build so we are on the cusp'.
Hmmm........

I've banged on about this in the past to the dealer and he just comes back with the usual 'it's out of my control based on factory production, etc.'
I will probably get some phone leads thrown in for free and that's it....

Dealer's now confirmed build week 9 (week commencing 23rd Feb), delivery to dealer 3 weeks so circa 23rd March.
Finally I'm on countdown! :)(not the programme)

Don't be surprised to find your car is in the UK in week 9 :thumbs up: ...from what I have seen most cars are arriving waaaaaaaay before schedule and usually delivered to UK in the build week :kissmyrings:

I would be amazed if the car was to arrive in the UK in the same week as the build week.
My dealer stated the 23rd March date could come forward by a few days, therefore bringing the car to the dealership sooner
but all depends on loading/unloading of the ship including sailing conditions, etc...

It could be in sooner, when I was code 10 my build week was 7, then I got pulled forward to BW4 and got code 20, from the second I got code 20, everything was locked in place and went according to schedule. If my dealer hadn't kept me informed of the changes to my order I would still be expecting the car to be built in BW7, only to find out today its at the dealership.

So until you get informed that you are code 20, your BW is subject to change and your vehicle could be built much sooner than you expect!

I was BW5 and my car was in the UK last week....
 
Hi all. First time poster here! I ordered my A3 Saloon week before last and am yet to get a confirmed build week but I'm told that it's likely to BW11. Most of you folks are waiting on an S3 though rather than the A3 so who knows what's going to happen!

I hope you get BW11 I ordered my saloon back in October and have a confirmed BW21!
 
Hi all, I ordered my S3 SB towards the end of Jan and my dealer just recently confirmed me as BW 9 :) roll on mid March
 
I ordered my A3 Saloon last week and was told there is a very strong possibility it will be here for the end of march as there was already A3's on order so they could just adjust the order to match the spec i want, i feel lucky as thats fast! i waited about 6 moths for my A1!:)
 
If I had to wait 6 months that would be bad for my bank account as every week I add another option! Started as an A3 no added extras. Now I've got the comfort pack & B&O sound. I'm trying not to add LED's....
 
Mines getting born this week! Also curious around shipping times. Dealership told me standard 4-6 weeks until its in their possession* but a colleague had one delivered 2 weeks after build.

Could do with semi-accurate estimate because my current car is up for sale and if I sell it too early (its getting attention) then it'll be walking to work for a month for me.

*Another Coventry Audi purchase - god bless them and their untouchable discounts :D

'Spoke' to my dealer yesterday, says now that it's confirmed it means I'm now locked in (code 20), and won't know anymore now until it's built!
Just the waiting game..........well, I've waited a year, what's another few weeks?:(:)
