Hi all,
I wondering if any one else has had this issue.

Driving to work in normal morning traffic, when an yellow warning icon flashed up on the DIS with the message - don't rev past 4000rpm.

Got to work and switched the car off/on and the warning disappeared.

I then went to my local Audi service centre who couldn't find any error codes logged in the VAGCOM - they weren't able to offer any other explanation other than a 'glitch'

What engine is this? I wouldn't want to take most diesels over 4k revs as most of the torque has gone. Is it brand new? Might be putting inbuilt warnings about the running in procedure?

1.8 TFSI petrol - only done 3000km - never seen the warning before

This happened to me last night in my wifes 2009 A3 1.8T

Looked into it briefly online and it points to an oil pressure switch. Ringing the garage this morning but anyone any experience with this?

The fault disappeared when I turned the car on/off and has been fine since last night and 2 trips in the car. I have been taking it easy, keeping revs low and I've checked the oil level to be ok.
