I've had my car now for 7rs and have never been able to get the boot interior light to work  any ideas?

Boot switch is in the boot catch... common problem on these... I took mine off, cleaned with brake cleaner and then sprayed WD40 in... worked for 6 months but is starting to go funny again... a more permanent fix is to replace it tbh but I can live with spraying WD40 in every now and then...

Tuffty, how do you remove it? Is their a difference for pre/post facelifts?

On mine I removed the boot trim panel then after unclipping the actuator rods for the boot lock and the central locking motor it just unbolts... there maybe slight differences pre facelift but I wouldn't have thought enough thats its a different job...
