Quite common being the actuator on the fuel flap,as my mate (AA Roadside) seen a few where they don't open all the time or just fail. Its a common code across the whole VAG range, and I've seen a few, so I'd change it before your locked out of fuelling

Something odd about your original post Josh, the Audi 1.6 Tdi engine is Common Rail engine and therefore has no Injection Pump to time up ? and as Scott said above looks like its got bent valves.

Bought a pair and fitted them working fine, no idea if thats true or not, I'm not disappointed with mine and they have worked fine, no nasty high pitch make your teeth grind and the cross over does its job

What codes did you get when scanned ?

Anything showing up on a scan if you have access ?

I don't think as you mentioned a change of oil will be the cure, maybe a specialist in DSG Gearboxes in you area or one a search on the internet may shed some more light on the way forward before you start spending serious money Craig

Have you had it rescanned after the new Coil Pack/Plugs to see what its showing now, could indicate a wiring fault to the coil pack ?

Difficult to say unless a search here brings up anything, have a look around to light clusters and make sure the seals are ok, other than that its a case of out with the hose after drying things off and seeing what happens

Very true Gazwould if the camera has that facility, I've machine polished mine and it doesn't go any where near supermarket car parks or and other parks for that matter, so if you need that option of a live camera then a permanent 12v is your option, there are plenty in the fuse box.
