all went well wit the matrix replacement, besides the top pipe pushing the seal inside the matrix and leaking coolant all over drivers footwell, eventually i just greased the seals and it slid in like a wet dream. I now have a wet nightmare on my carpets though, fresh g12, i managed to soak up...

I got one of the rocketwires kits to repair the drivers door harness. i actually ended up removing the complete harness and just soldering the new wires on instead of using those rubbish butt splice connectors. Repair went well as i thought, i soldered all the wires to now to avoid further...
have decided to just replace the matrix, question my friend in a struggle to get the matrix hoses off they got a bit damaged so they are back on the pipes at the bulkhead with various jubilee clips and no leaks, my initial idea was to bypass the matrix (remove old matrix) and flush coolant so...
i'll give the whole system a good flush and fill slowly and bleed see if that solves it if not new matrix if that dont fix it then "insurance job" hahaha
well i am waiting for some g12+ coming and i am going to flush the entire cooling system with some holts speedflush just to see if there is any remaining blockages and i will be sure to bleed it thoroughly, would it help if i maybe stood the reservoir up on its end so its all flowing down?
Hello all so i have been having problems with heat inside the cab for a while now, i originally put it down to a blocked heater core, so the matrix was removed and cleaned and alot of rubbish came out, put back in and system bled and hey presto had really good heat for a while but now its back...
yeah i had thought about taking it off and reconditioning it but a friend of mine had one spare and it was like 30 quid, took ten minutes to swap over and another 10 minutes to bleed the brakes, . Timing belt next week! i think im just going to have to give this old girl my card and pin number...
