Came from a long run of Honda Civics. The engine choices were very limited, and the new styling left me cold (wife still has one, mind you).
Now in a A4 Sline Avant with all the toys. It's a significantly better car than the Civic.
Having come from a NA manual petrol engine (VTEC) before, I'm used to applying throttle in a certain way which seems to work OK with the Stronic TDI I have. There's a touch of lag, but once you understand the characteristics of the engine, you just adjust and pre-empt. I have a much bigger issue...
Mine does it. It's a minor irritation.
The stop-go is dangerous though and kicks in at terrible points rolling up to junctions. Will get round to disabling it this weekend
Thanks - I'd previously dismissed it.... as wasn't sure that it is actually compatible with the B9 platform though? Doesn't seem like it from the description?
