Dear, I have the same problem on the A4 B9. Cannot reproduce a pattern though. Definitely a distortion generated by some DSP o ECU, it happens with all audio inputs. Glad you solve it, I should bring my car in when it happens again!

Hello! I just bought a 2016 A4 Avant. The other day, with the car parked and engine off, I played some gentle music and noticed a strange distortion coming from the front left woofer. Today, it comes from the right one. It doesn't sound as a rattling sound (made by a bad driver or vibration)...

I guess I have the same issue. There is a distortion coming out of the speaker even at lower levels. It doesn't sound as a mechanical fault (such as rattling sounds). Sometimes it's the front left woofer, sometimes the front right one. Did you get it fixed?

Hey, I have similar issues. Actually from woofers (sometimes the right one, sometimes the left one) sounds distorted at certain frequencies, even at lower volumes. That sound doesn't really get louder increasing the volume, hence I think it' not a mechanical fault. did you get your issue...
