Hi, My DIS decided to nolonger display any information. However, when i press the engine check the matrix works and shows the various animations for oil, water etc. I have read a few threads that say its the contacts on the matrix. my question is why does it work for one and not the other?

ordered the part today from VAG Parts. £112 each - not bad compared to stearler who wanted £169 each! also bought 2 Bosch 710N DV's. These seemed to be a common DV to use other than a forge or Bailey...I will run with them and see if i want to fork out the extra for some shiny ones!
