Got an email this morning to say the car is on a boat, If I remember rightly, that usually turns up after the car has actually landed in the UK... So hopefully be able to collect in the next week/10 days

Yea dealership said it could take a couple of weeks once the car arrived to arrange delivery, but it doesn't usually take that long. Give your dealership a call see if they can hurry it along a bitI got the "on the boat email last tues" and then "arrived in the UK" email the next day.... still haven't got any phone call/email about my car being at the dealership.
I've had friends get the emails and a phone call within the same week to arrange a delivery, so here's hoping. York, it's a bit of a trek for me but it's a decent enough drive.I've had friends get the emails and a phone call within the same week to arrange a delivery, so here's hoping. Where is your dealership?
Don't forget the pictures when it lands . Out of interest did you order through a dealership or broker DTD etcYork, it's a bit of a trek for me but it's a decent enough drive.

I spoke to a car detailer at a customers the other day, he quoted about £600 to fully prepare my new car and apply a ceramic coating.Oh there will be pictures, but I might wait until it's been cleaned properly and had a ceramic coating applied. I got a call this afternoon to confirm it's in the country, arrived on Saturday so just waiting for it to get to the dealership now.
Need to make a checklist for when I collect, I'm sure there was one posted on this forum somewhere...

Anyone else had this done?
He did say it was miles better than the **** they apply at the dealership.
Seems like all of a sudden there's a flurry of activity!Just got an email from my dealer, car is with them and have arranged a pick up on Friday!
It was lucky I got a dealer order coming through...Seems like all of a sudden there's a flurry of activity!
Looks fantastic, bet you're buzzing. Mine is due in at the end of the month. Can't wait!Well after 13 months i picked this beauty up today, all complete nothing missing. I'll post some better pictures once I've cleaned it at the weekend. Well worth the wait!
Bet you are counting down the days! what colour did you go for?Looks fantastic, bet you're buzzing. Mine is due in at the end of the month. Can't wait!
Good to hear nothing is missing. Did the dealer fit the audi beam?

Checked the door lights and they were the standard ones? Only to find the Vorsprung logo ones in the glove box which they hadn't fitted for some reason, they are in now and look good!!
Same as me, but I went for the sportback. Should be collecting this week!Yep! Can't wait! I've gone for turbo red, and it's a S3 Vorsprung saloon. Very excited. Think the grey you've gone for looks very smart though - it was between the red and grey for me. Tough call but my dad had a red Audi 80 when I was a lad, so the red won for nostalgic reasons.
Ok, at least they were in the glove box. Been on to my dealer and they've assured me they'll fit them and confirmed all other spec is present.
the only one in the world LOL - nearly 20 months and counting - still waiting for a confirmed build dateAn A3 45 TFSIe in the flesh...

It'll be worth the wait, trust me. I'd never driven one before and was a bit skeptical about the whole hybrid but Audi have got it spot on.the only one in the world LOL - nearly 20 months and counting - still waiting for a confirmed build date
Exactly the same as my experience 14 months ago. Multiple dealers just didn't seem to give a damn. No calls back no interest. I think with the PCP and HP models around there's not the same pressure to sell cars as there used to be because there's always an easy sell coming up.Slightly different topic, but could be interesting to those lurking here. I put in an inquiry for an S3 with a bunch of options last Thursday, together with a test drive request. It's now Monday evening and I haven't even got a call or any sort of response from the dealer. It has been over 3 full business days, seeing as Saturday is a business day for that dealer. With all my previous enquiries (BMW, Ford, Kia) I've always had feedback on their next business day, at the latest. My current experience seems rather odd and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the production delays, though it could also be just this particular Audi dealer.
What dealership did you use I thought decent discounts from dealerships were a thing of the past ?Recently order a S3 Vorsprung Saloon in Navarra Blue with Red Brake Callipers and the 5-Y Arm Alloys! Got 5K off from finance & dealer towards a deposit contribution.
Been quoted a delivery estimate of 31/07/23 but the dealership is hoping that might come in as they have a existing order than can be changed to my spec.
Replacing my current 2018 S3 Sportback. After ordering a Merc, waiting for 14 months and then having the order cancelled, I decided to get another Audi!

That is pretty decent did you try drive the deal they do good dealsSo there is a £3K finance contribution available to anyone at the moment and this adds £1750: https://www.jardinemotors.co.uk/audi/new-car-offers/search/?pageId=272756&make[]=164&model[164][]=121&type[]=2&incentive[]=473&per_page=all&pageId=272756 if you had a finance agreement that was open within the last 12 months.
So currently looking like 20 weeks - but that may move in by a couple of weeks once they update and confirm the order in the system. I think the chip shortage situation has improved and maybe there has been less demand generally more recently. This was all caveated though that because its a Vorsprung order, it needs more chips so may take longer.
Yeah I did have a look and it was very similar actually - not enough to make me switch though. I'm looking forward to pickup day already, I know it will be a way off yet though! That is pretty decent did you try drive the deal they do good deals

The APR's are crazy now I bought my current S3 new in march 2019 and the APR was 4.8% its a massive jump in the space of 4 years .I was speaking to my dealership recently, what they've done is increase the APR but added an Audi contribution to offset it. They've also increased the guaranteed future value of the vehicle, I didn't take them up on the offer of restructuring my deal as I think my APR is 6.8%, they're now at 10.8% if I remember rightly, it would also have meant the GFV on the car would go from £22k to about £25k.
Mine did this for around 3 days, then all of a sudden the app picked up my car as updated (with an error). Soon as I seen this went into the car and logged in no problem, been fine ever since.Collected mine today, Love it! Will post some pics later
Having the same issue I had with the initial login on the MMI though enter details "You cannot be logged in at this time" bit annoying but I'll give it a day or so as I think last time it took a few days to get logged in as well.

Why has pcp apr shot up so much but nornal Loans are still low at about 5%?Not as bad as the RRP increase in a tin of Heinz Tomato soup.
A bit of money manipulation with the PCPs -"lets give you £3k deposit contribution and hope you don't notice the now huge APR%".Why has pcp apr shot up so much but nornal Loans are still low at about 5%?
Yeah I’d use my banks pcp at 7.4 %. Annoying as I can get loan for the whole car for 5.0%, i thought pcp rates used to be lower than loans.A bit of money manipulation with the PCPs -"lets give you £3k deposit contribution and hope you don't notice the now huge APR%".
With the higher GFV you're also paying less capital off and more interest. Haven't done the sums but I bet overall cost to consumers taking out a PCP is hasn't really changed much either way. Also, bank loans have jumped from 3% to 5 or 6% (doubled), Audi finance has gone from about 5% to 10% (doubled).

Same here, kept saying it had a technical error? Tried 4 or 5 more times and just left it, checked the audi app later and it had sorted itself outCollected mine today, Love it! Will post some pics later
