Does anyone actually know the reason we didn't get the interior option in the UK? I'd of thought if it was related to the supply chain issues, it would have been across the board??
Apparently when I asked Audi customer services they said the 'Audi UK design team' didnt think anyone would want them
Someone probably got a promotion and Christmas bonus on that decision as well…
The interior design pack on the 8v pfl and Fl was a very popular option indeed available on both the S3 and RS3 although it was expensive when you added in the cost of the super sport seats

Such a balls up by Audi UK for not providing the interior design option. My son is doing some digging to find out the why we have been excluded.
In the meantime, i've contacted a local trimmer i know and he's pulling together an estimate to re stitch front & rear seats, door card arm rests, centre console arm rest in Red to match the OEM option. My modified steering steering wheel will be with me in around 4 weeks, Tango Red vents on order from TPS, RS Logo Mats on order from Autostyle, and Car on order from Audi!!! LOL

it would be terrific if the trimmer can do that but it would be a mighty labour intensive task you’d think ?

The chap i know is brilliant. Re trims all sorts of cars from classics to Modern day. I have a figure in my head...3k, based on £1k front seats 1k rear seats, 1k door cards, armrest. It's a finger in the air, but as you say is labour intensive, but he did say he may be able to re stitch the existing areas. Watch this space!!!!
No not same as OEM. Same as this but minus the R8/TTRS buttons, and red stitching on wheel. Same airbag unit, but again with red stitching. Top & Bottom in Alcantara, Left & Right in perforated leather. Red leather ring at 12 o clock
I've also ordered matt carbon fibre extended paddles with Red + & -

Really Nice wheel style but l aint a fan of microfiber on any steering wheel for the obvious reasons
I’m not an alcantara lover TBH, but it’s a contrast and why I placed it top and bottom as left/right gets more attrition so opted for perforated leather

Nightmare job I would imagine, I wonder how far he would need to unpick the seat before trying to over stitch it? or put another way what else is stitched onto the seat cover after the pattern is stitched into it?
I wonder what could be available through parts? maybe red stitched seat covers would be cheaper than all the labour costs
I thought about red stitched seat covers Mike. I'll have a chat with the girl i get on really well with at TPS tomorrow as i've got to pay for the red air vents. Will ask if she can have a look in to that and report back. I'll get her to see if she can locate all the necessary parts which i believe are
- Front seat covers
- Rear seat covers
- Front console arm rest
- Door card arm rests??

Even the A6 comes with that. Either they’re running out of bits or RS3 buyers are getting fleeced!

Quick update. Been chatting to my contact at TPS. Got the red vents ordered and 2 RS key fobs same as jassyo06 had shared earlier. I've also asked if the front and rear seat covers and stitched part of the 4 armrests are able to be ordered.
Unfortunately their ETKA system is down for maintenance this morning, but she's going to do some digging and come back to me once its up later today. As an FYI, the vents and fobs are on back order, but she reckons they will be with them 1st week in Jan, if not before.

Some years ago I nearly bought a Cayman GTS, with what was called the GTS interior, it was a lovely mixture of carbon/ leather/Alcantara and red stitching, a bit like what we are missing really, the dealer gazumped me (another story) and I couldnt find another with the same interior, so why the f88k have i settled for an RS3 that looks like a coal face inside?
