As the title suggests, looking for opinions.
The S5 has been wrapped in the same colour as the below, when I get it back I will be painting the rotors gloss black because the Satin grey factory colour (IMO) is not going to work with the new deep purple shown in the pictures.

Picture below to demonstrate.. and a wild card option for fun :)
FYI not my car, just my horrendous MS paint skills

questions is.. do I leave the diamond cut edges diamond cut when painting the rest black.. or do I paint them black too.

My reservations are... the diamond edges on mine are almost perfect (ceramic coating doing its job) and diamond cut edges aren't cheap..
Would I be performing sacrilege painting over perfectly good diamond cut edges...
Or does it really look better all black any way..

No Wrong answers.. I am very on the fence as I prefer them all black but don't want to regret ruining the diamond edges.

Looking Sharp.
Love it, good choice

I would go oem powder coated silver
The whole wheels, keeping it up to date and doing away with the diamond cut problems that you will have.
Silver will really separate the wheels from the colour..
And making them look much classy.
Nice contrast with shiny black tyres
Calipers in either silver or purple.
Probably what you didn't want to hear.
But I think dark wheels especially on a dark colour look lost.

Just my 2p worth

Whoa wait a minute.
That's not your car @Meemo
That's got way too many doors.
I was sat thinking there was a rabbit away .
Love the colour, can't wait to see the proper version
( I should really start reading properly instead of skim reading)

Still think silver for the wheels tho!

I'm with @Gazwould, wrap the diamond cut part purple, if you don't like it you can always peel it off and choose between all black or black & diamond cut. Callipers defo purple.

Purple S5, that's going to be one stunning motor. :hubbahubba:

Loving all the ideas :) will have to ask the wrapper to give me the offcuts to do the wheels, poor ****** has already had my car 2 weeks due to unforseen delays (not caused by my car thankfully) don't have the heart to ask him to do it lol

Here's the theme here .

Shock confession.. I have never bought into the Bentley splits OE+ look.. I know for an ex bags and wheels lady it is hard to believe :tearsofjoy:
@CHEZ I can't photo shop on the silver wheels from my phone, but I will have a go on Monday on my pc :)

I was having a wonder around the internet and found a matte purple Audi with the same theme.

I’d go for all black rotors, that would match your blacked out grille and rings
